This page explains how MENA Organization for Nursing Leadership (MONL) collects, uses and protects information, and the terms that govern use of this website and MONL services. By accessing or using this website you agree to the terms below.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MENA Organization for Nursing Leadership (MONL)® — a Dubai-based healthcare capability organization providing consultancy, advisory, capability-building, training and professional education services. “MENA Organization for Nursing Leadership” and the MONL logo are registered trademarks in the UAE (Reg. No. 479214, Class 41). Website: www.monl.ae · Contact: legal@monl.ae · Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Noor Academy is MONL’s professional education arm and operates under this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: name, email, phone; organization, job title and sector; inquiry and consultation details; event registrations; expert-network applications; CVs and professional profiles; career-services information; professional verification details where relevant to a service — including professional license number, registration category, credentials and certifications; survey responses; billing details where services are purchased.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device data, usage data, cookies and analytics. We do not intentionally collect patient data or clinical records through this website, and forms must not be used to submit them.

3. How we use information

To respond to inquiries and deliver services; verify professional credentials and eligibility (including CPD-related verification); manage events; review expert-network applications; provide career consultation and talent-pool services — CVs submitted may be considered for roles and engagements with MONL and Noor Academy, and, with your consent, for future opportunities with partner organizations; conduct market-needs and satisfaction surveys and service improvement research (reported in aggregated, de-identified form wherever possible); improve website performance; communicate updates where consent is given; and maintain security and prevent misuse. We do not sell personal data.

Marketing communications (newsletters, event invitations, program updates) are sent only where you have opted in; every message includes a working unsubscribe option, and we keep records of consent. Service and transactional messages — responses to your inquiry, registration confirmations — are not marketing.

4. Legal basis

Consistent with the UAE PDPL, we process personal data on the basis of consent, contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, and legal obligations, depending on context.

5. How information is shared

Within the MONL group: information may be shared between MONL and Noor Academy as one corporate group, under this same policy, to deliver and improve services. With service providers: hosting, analytics, communications and payment providers acting under contract and instruction. With authorities: where disclosure is required by UAE law or a competent regulator. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

Where data is processed outside the UAE (for example, cloud hosting), transfers are made in accordance with the PDPL’s cross-border transfer requirements with appropriate safeguards.

7. Security and retention

We apply proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, our professional records, and legal obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Data breaches: should a personal-data breach occur that is likely to cause harm, MONL will notify the competent UAE authority and affected individuals as and when required by the PDPL, and will act promptly to contain and remediate the breach.

8. Your rights

Subject to and in accordance with applicable UAE law, individuals may request access to, correction or deletion of their personal data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing, by writing to legal@monl.ae. To protect our users, we will verify the identity of the requester before acting, may decline requests where retention is required by law, contract or legitimate professional-record purposes, and will respond within the timelines applicable law provides.

9. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies and, with consent, analytics cookies. A cookie banner allows acceptance or refusal of non-essential cookies; refusing them does not block access to content.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

MONL may modify this Privacy Policy at any time; changes are effective immediately upon posting, and the effective date above will reflect the latest version. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the policy as modified, and we encourage you to review it periodically. If MONL ever wishes to use information you have already submitted for purposes substantially different from those stated when you submitted it, we will ask for your permission before doing so.

11. Minors

This website and our services are directed at professionals and organizations; they are not intended for individuals under 18.

Terms of Use

1. Website use

This website is provided for general information. Content does not constitute medical advice, regulatory approval or legal representation, and use of the site does not create a client relationship unless confirmed in a signed agreement.

2. Intellectual property and trademark

All website content, branding, training materials, curricula, assessment tools and methodologies are owned by or licensed to MONL. “MENA Organization for Nursing Leadership” and the MONL logo are registered trademarks in the UAE (Reg. No. 479214, Class 41). No content, materials or marks may be reproduced, distributed, adapted or commercially used without MONL’s prior written permission.

3. Scope of services and client responsibilities

MONL provides advisory, consultancy, capability-building and training services based on the agreed written scope and on the information, data and access provided by the client. Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information, and reasonable access to facilities, systems and personnel where the scope requires it. Where information is materially incomplete, inaccurate or withheld, or access is restricted, MONL may adjust the scope, timelines, deliverables or fees, qualify or limit its findings, or suspend the affected services — and is not responsible for conclusions or outcomes affected by those limitations. Unless expressly stated in a signed agreement, MONL does not act as legal representative before regulators, does not assume operational control of client facilities, and does not guarantee regulatory or accreditation outcomes. Clients remain solely responsible for implementation, operational execution, ongoing compliance, documentation and staffing decisions.

4. Changes to agreed plans and regulatory change

Changes to an agreed plan, scope or schedule — whether requested by the client or required by circumstances on the ground — take effect only through a written variation, and may carry adjusted fees and timelines. Where laws, regulations or accreditation standards change after a scope is agreed, work arising from those changes is a new or varied scope unless the agreement states otherwise; MONL will identify the impact and propose the variation.

5. Training, certification and use of materials

Training and materials are licensed to the receiving client for internal use by the named participants only. Clients and participants may not reproduce, adapt, re-deliver or use MONL training, materials or methodologies to train other organizations or third parties, whether commercially or otherwise, without a written license from MONL. Certificates are personal to the named participant, non-transferable, confirm participation and/or assessed competency only as stated on their face, and may be revoked where obtained through misrepresentation or misuse. Certification does not imply MONL endorsement of an individual’s or organization’s wider practice.

Accreditation and CPD status: the accreditation or CPD status stated for a specific course at the point of registration is the definitive statement of that course’s status. General references to CPD eligibility on this website do not constitute a representation that any particular course carries accreditation.

6. Events

Event details may change; MONL may reschedule, modify or cancel events where necessary, and registration does not guarantee access where capacity limits apply. Where an event is cancelled by MONL and a paid registration cannot be transferred, the registration fee is refunded.

Photography and recording: MONL events may be photographed or recorded for professional and promotional use. Registration includes consent to appear in event photography and recordings; attendees who prefer not to appear may notify us at registration or on site, and requests to remove an identifiable image already published can be sent to legal@monl.ae.

7. Expert network and career services

Submitting an application, CV or profile does not guarantee engagement, employment, placement or business opportunity. MONL may verify credentials and references, and may accept or decline any application at its discretion. Career consultation provides professional guidance and does not guarantee employment outcomes.

8. Surveys and feedback

Participation in surveys is voluntary. Responses are used for market-needs assessment, service improvement and satisfaction measurement, and are reported in aggregated or de-identified form. Testimonials or named quotes are published only with consent.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website unlawfully, upload malicious content, misrepresent identity or credentials, submit patient-identifiable information, or infringe intellectual property rights.

10. Termination and suspension

Service engagements may be terminated in accordance with their signed agreement. MONL may suspend or terminate services or website access where fees are unpaid, information or access obligations are not met, materials or certifications are misused, or continued delivery would compromise professional or legal integrity. Fees for work performed to the date of termination remain payable, and clauses that by nature survive (intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: MONL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profit, revenue, reputation, business opportunity or business interruption. MONL is not liable for regulatory fines, penalties, sanctions, enforcement actions or adverse inspection findings arising from matters outside the agreed scope; client failure to implement recommendations; inaccurate, incomplete or withheld information or restricted access; changes in regulatory standards; acts or omissions of client staff or third parties; or regulator discretion. Where MONL is found liable for direct damages not otherwise excluded, total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim, and any claim must be brought within twelve (12) months of the event giving rise to it. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or wilful misconduct.

12. Order of precedence

Where services are delivered under a separate signed agreement, proposal or statement of work, that document prevails over these website terms in the event of conflict.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

14. Updates to these terms

MONL may update these terms periodically; continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms as of the effective date shown above.
