About MONL

About MONL

MONL — the MENA Organization for Nursing Leadership — is a Dubai-based healthcare capability organization. We exist to close the most expensive gap in healthcare: the distance between the standards written into policy and the practice delivered at the bedside. We partner with healthcare organizations to embed standards into daily operations and measurable performance, and with the healthcare workforce directly through Noor Academy, our professional education arm.

Founded in Dubai in 2024, MONL was built on a conviction formed across two decades of executive practice: standards do not fail on paper — they fail at the point of care, and only capability closes that distance. We are licensed where it matters, connected where it counts, and structured to mobilize the right expertise for every engagement, from a single clinic to a national health system.

Mission

To equip healthcare organizations and professionals with the competence, confidence and systems to deliver safe, high-quality care — every day.

Vision

The region’s leading capability-building partner for nursing excellence, regulatory readiness and operational performance.

Values

  • People first
  • Integrity and trust
  • Excellence through capability
  • Sustainable systems over short-term fixes
  • Partnership and shared accountability
  • Clinically grounded

Our Model

From assessment to ownership — one disciplined pathway.

Every engagement opens with a structured consultation — a needs and readiness analysis that sets the baseline, the gaps and the priorities. Then four phases: assess, develop, embed, sustain.

Clients experience the model as one continuous engagement: a baseline they can see, development they can measure, standards that become habit, and a handover that leaves the capability theirs. Designed so the capability stays when the engagement ends.

Leadership & Expert Network

Led from inside healthcare. Powered by a global bench.

Maryam Al Blooshi — Founder & Chief Executive Officer RN, MSc (Advanced Leadership), FFNMRCSI

More than 20 years of progressive healthcare leadership — from the bedside to national health programs and enterprise executive nursing leadership across multi-thousand-nurse health systems spanning the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Her national portfolio includes executive oversight of nursing across primary and preventive care, a nurse-led national pandemic response, nurse-led chronic-disease and early cancer-detection programs, and the design of a national school-health model and nursing career-pathway framework. At enterprise level: clinical and operational governance design, accreditation and international nursing-excellence journeys, commissioning of new services including nurse-led homecare, enterprise EMR adoption, and emergency-preparedness programs. She founded MONL in 2024 to bring that operating standard to healthcare organizations and professionals across the region.

The expert network behind every engagement: senior experts contracted per engagement, alongside part-time specialist faculty — matched to the problem, not the org chart, and selected for depth against the pain points our markets face: clinical specialties (critical care, oncology and beyond), nursing leadership and management, patient experience, quality and infection prevention and control, and regulatory compliance and accreditation. Drawn from around the world — current on the regional landscape, emerging issues and best evidence.

“Standards don’t transform care. Capable people do.” — Maryam Al Blooshi
